The Twist-In Mixed-Bed Color Changing Deionization Filter for reverse osmosis/deionization systems contains positive Cations and negative Anions, each in a different color. The DI Resin physically changes color from Blue to Tan when the media is exhausted. The AquaticLife replacement deionization filter cartridge can be used with AquaticLife Twist-In 4-stage RO/DI units.
Easy Twist-In Design Installs In Seconds
The twist-in deionization cartridge installs in seconds. It's designed to simply twist into the pivoting head on the Aquatic Life 75 and 100 GPD Models of the Twist-In RO/DI units. The deionization resin is necessary to reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) to zero in the final stage of an RO/DI system. It uses ion exchange to remove TDS from water. The cartridge features a translucent lower polyethylene housing for easy viewing of the resin to know when it's time to replace the cartridge.
