Measure Your Dogs Girth Before You Order - With your other hand, wrap the tape measure behind his front legs and around his body, going underneath the widest part of his rib cage. Place this end next to the beginning of the tape. Put your thumb on the number that meets up with the beginning of the tape measure. The higher number is the girth measurement. If you are in between two sizes - choose the smaller of the two.

DOES YOUR DOG ESCAPE? FenceMate is an easy light and comfortable step-in buckle harness that will help to keep your small pet safe in their own backyard. The safety harness will not interfere with your pet's activities and is completely water and weather resistant. Fits girth 19"-29" and should be adjusted to fit the dog snuggly. If the size harness that you purchase does not fit your puppy, the FenceMate will not be able to do its job. We have several sizes available which are also adjustable. Be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the page to show how to put it on your pet and also the video of a dog using it to show you how it actually works. Very helpful. It is a small harness for small dogs but does help to keep them safe. Make sure you are getting the right size for your dog - it is not the fault of the product, if you do not measure your dog properly.
