Primacare instant cold pack is a convenient direct replacement for crushed ice. It contains ammonium nitrate and water. You must squeeze it to activate it and shake packet to mix contents. This product does not need to be refrigerated and is for one time use. PrimaCare's cols pack comes with a non-woven cover, so that there is no direct contact of cold pack to the skin.
