This customized, light weight, one-piece aluminum alloy cage frame serves as a protective exoskeleton for your SONY a7m4 while maintaining access to all compartments such as hot shoe, SD card slot and battery, and it provides various mounting options. The camera mounts onto the cage using a single 1/4"-20 screw. Multiple 1/4"-20 mounting holes and anti-twist 1/4"-20 female mounts allows for attachments of various accessories. You can attach a top handle for low perspective photography. One cold shoe mount, two NATO-style rail connections on top and the left of the half cage offer additional mounting points for shotgun microphones, wireless receivers and NATO compatible accessories. There are paddings on the base to prevent metal-to-metal contact, integrated strap slots as well, allowing you to add a neck or wrist strap (separately available). The bottom of the cage also offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes for attaching your camera to different quick release plates or a tripod.
