Two 27" fabric ties run vertically down the front & back of the shade. 14" of the ties are sewn onto the curtain with 13" free to tie into a knot or bow at the bottom of the valance, adjusting folds of fabric to the length you want, creating appearance of an adjustable Roman Shade
