Q: What is minky dot?
A: Minky is a particularly soft, warm & lightweight fleece fabric, a form of polyester that resembles real mink in touch and as soft & silky as cashmere.

It is favored for its durability in making nursery blankets, baby accessories, pillow, nursery bedding, apparel, toys, quilt backings and other baby items newborn essentials. Minky comes in many different variations and texture: dotted, stripes, lines, novelty prints, embossed & comes in every color under the rainbow.

Q: How big is it?
A: It measures 40 inch long and 29 inch wide. For a toddler, this is enough to cover his body. For adults, it can serve as a lap blanket to cover your legs at home, in car or office.

Q: How warm is it?
A: It's 0.1 inch thick and has a double layer enough for spring and fall use. It keeps a child warm & cozy as it is thicker than a receiving blanket but thinner than a quilt so it won't overheat them no matter the temperature.

Q: Is the blanket reversible?
A: Yes, both sides have the same minky softness, but the other has bumpy dots that provide baby's sensory stimulation and is fun for your little baby when used for tummy time or outfit changes.

Q: Can you swaddle a baby with this blanket?
A: It's a super soft blanket but the size may be too big and heavy for swaddling an infant. It's more of a security blanket for babies to help them sleep better or can be used as a fall throw blanket or kids blanket to nap on the couch at home, outdoor or in a daycare.
