The Norton Hook & Sand conversion pad converts a random orbit sander from accepting pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) discs to a hook-and-loop fastening system. Sandpaper discs with hook-and-loop attachments mount without tools, can be re-attached multiple times, and stay tightly attached to the sander for quick and easy grit changes during the project. When sanding discs need to be changed frequently, the hook-and-loop mounting system can increase the life of the disc.
The hook-and-loop fastener for sandpaper discs is easy to press on and tear off, which allows quick disc changes. Hook-and-loop attached discs are more secure than adhesive discs, which may lose tack from dust.
