The Hero Session is amazing for its long battery life, ease of operation and durability. However, there is no easy way to attach much needed filters, such as a UV or Neutral density, to the camera. Our solution a silicone sleeve that surrounds the camera and firmly holds the pre-installed filter in front of the lens.
UV filters block or absorb ultraviolet (UV) light and are used to reduce the level of ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight that strikes the recording medium. This UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Such filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your front lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.
