A 25-layer anti-reflection multicoating system on the generous open sight window ensures views remain bright and crisp, even in low or fading light. Weighing just 2.5 ounces and measuring less than 2"" long with a wide unmagnified field of view, you'll hardly feel the sight, whatever it's mounted on. Its simple small 3 MOA diameter red dot reticle is easy to see but won't clutter your field of view or cover smaller targets, and with eight adjustable intensity you can set it to your preferred brightness or to optimize it for the situation and mission. Low-profile windage and elevation dials adjust at 1 MOA per click to zero it to your weapon to improve your accuracy, and with its Weaver rail mount you'll be able to remove it and reinstall it without having to re-zero. Hawke designed the user interface to be simple and straightforward to avoid confusion or mistakes in high-stress situations. Simple pushbuttons, located on the left side of the housing, control the intensity level with a last-mode memory that returns the sight to its last brightness setting when it's turned on and an auto-off function after 4 hours of inactivity. To withstand the rigors of recoil, the sight is made of a lightweight but durable aluminum alloy that is treated with a matte black anodized finish to reduce reflections and sealed to be waterproof.
