Description

Amazonite is a member of the feldspar mineral group that was originally discovered near the Amazon River. This particular batch of amazonite is from Russia, just east of the Ural Mountains that divide Asia and Europe. This blue-green amazonite is A grade, which means it is very rich color! This mineral is great for jewelry, resin art, woodworking inlay or anything else you can imagine. The material size is considered to be medium to fine, sand-sized particles, ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters - perfect for large and small voids in your woodworking projects. This NATURAL turquoise is sold in 1/2 ounce units. This product is NOT man-made, mixed with resin, or stabilized. Stone authenticity is extremely important to all artisans; therefore, we strive to validate the source of all our minerals before they are processed and crushed. Please see product images for color, approximate size, and quality. Pictures are taken in full sun - material is dry.
