Green Tourmaline is a natural, semi-precious gemstone from the Borosilicate mineral family and usually occur as long, three-sided prisms. The green color is caused by trace amounts of chromium. Because of the complex structure of this gemstone, it exists in an almost endless number of varieties and colors depending on where it developed.
Green Tourmaline is said to enhance vitality, boost strength and help keep us growing with the energy of new beginnings. Some additional qualities attributed to Green Tourmaline include expansion, joyful acceptance, compassion, and abundance.
Each Green Tourmaline is natural and unique - each gem will differ slightly due to natural variations in shape and structure. Although Tourmaline may be found on every continent, fine crystal specimens and gems are considered rare and can be very expensive.
