UHMWPE is 10x stronger than steel wire by weight ratio. This 3mm shoelace load capacity is over 1600 pounds, they can fit any boot and won't break, which is very durable and high strength. UHMWPE has excellent resistance to UV resistance, waterproof and corrosion resistance and lightweight.
