HDT Design started from selecting a material. Italian waterproof treated calf is used for the upper leather. Lining is waterproof Swiss Leather.

There is leather padding underneath the watch case to prevent metal burn on skin when sudden temperature change occures in the cockpit.

This means that there is minimal contact of metal to skin (except the buckle part) so, it is also ideal for metal allergy sufferers.
