ARTISAN STORY: "My name is Mei Mei and I was born in the small town west of Cebu City, Cebu. My hometown is near the ocean so I have always been fascinated by the pearls and shells. My father was a fisherman so I spent a lot of time at the beach and in the ocean. My passion has always been to make and design jewelry and accessories. Eventually my dream came true and I was able to open up a store in downtown Cebu City."
