Unlike other waste, glass has no value in the market, despite being 100% recyclable waste, only 12% is recovered, which means that, year after year, raw material is extracted to manufacture more bottles. Closing the cycle seeks to encourage an economic interest in society for its collection and transformation of glass bottles, in this way its use generates a self-employment alternative for women whose situation prevents them from obtaining a source of income.
