The golden variety of Beryl, Heliodor, gets its name from the Greek word for “gift from the sun” because it has a vivid golden hue. Heliodor was first discovered in 1910 in Namibia, though it can be found in a handful of other locations around the world. This stone is from Brazil.
Each Heliodor Crystal is natural and unique - each gem will differ slightly due to natural variations in structure, this natural heliodor crystal has not been shaped, cut or treated.
Shipment will contain one collector's grade natural Heliodor crystal, (approximately 20-40 carats) similar to the ones shown in the photo.
