Special Features

  • Bypass Plug for Gen 4 LS Oil Pan Oil Pressure Relief Valve Fits 2007-2013 LS Based V8 Engines 4.8L 5.3L 6.0L. 6.2L
  • The secondary oil pressure relief valve located inside the rear of the oil pan on Gen 4 LS engines is prone to becoming clogged by debris, causing low oil pressure conditions.
  • On engines without DOD/AFM or VVT systems (or engines where those systems have been deleted) the bypass valve can be safely eliminated with this plug to prevent these issues.
  • Installation requires removal of the oil pan from the engine. Torque to 22lb-ft
