What a great addition to a reenactment costume, this Civil/Revolutionary War Era Reproduction Wooden Snare Drum. This type of Drum was commonly used in battle by a Marching Band during the Revolutionary and Civil War. This drum features two natural skin drum heads for better reverberation and crisper sound. In order to improve the tone, the drum heads can be tuned by tightening the white cord that secures each of the two hoops. The drum shell is painted red, the hoops yellow, and includes a set of drumsticks as well as a rope sling which is hooked around the shoulder so the drum can be played at the waist.
