Description

Directions: If wood is gray and or dirty, first treat with Star brite Teak Cleaner. If you sand wood, use Teak Cleaner after sanding to remove all loose wax and pitch from surface. It is important that the wood be cleaned after sanding so Star brite Teak Sealer can penetrate evenly and provide maximum adhesion and performance. Mix Teak Sealer before applying. Use a stiring stick to get any solids on the bottom of the container into the solution. Wood should be completely dry before appyling sealer. Note: Product must be applied outside as it requires UV exposure to dry properly. Apply product with a foam brush using short strokes in the direction of the wood grain. It is important to use even brush strokes to obtain a uniform finish. Always stop applicationat a natural break point such as a seam. Look over treated area to make sure there are no brush marks or uneven spots. Uneven or poor application can be corrected by rubbing with a clean dry towel in the direction of the wood grain before the sealer dries.
