💯 How To Use?
💫 1, Never remove both caliper bolts, remove the lower bolt, loosen the top bolt and swing the caliper up to its max swing position and then tighten the top caliper bolt. Both hand are now free to depress the caliper pistons using this tool.

💫 2, Clean the protruding piston edges/surfaces around the rubber seal, use brake cleaner and a rub with a cloth to make the exposed piston surfaces shiny if possible.

💫 3, lubricate the piston and rubber seal with brake silicone lubricant - same product used on sliding caliper pins. This really makes it very easy to depress the caliper piston

💫 4, Retract the tool to its minimum width, insert into the upright caliper body, slightly push the tool towards the pistons as you are ratcheting (both of your hands are now free) to create enough resistance for the ratcheting mechanism to expand and engage, stop pushing once the tool has its own ratcheting resistance within the caliper, Begin ratcheting the cleaned and lubricated piston into the caliper body - I experienced no problems using this tool on an eleven year old original equipment caliper.
