Roughly a year after the Jordan 1 made its debut in 1985, Nike released the Air Jordan 1 KO or “AJKO,” for short
The then-new design featured a canvas construction instead of leather like the original Jordan 1
Moreover, the AJKO was seen as a more inclusive version of the shoe, although Nike has never gone into much detail as to why it reconstructed and renamed the model so closely after releasing the original Jordan 1
