The mechanism on this movement is encased in a white plastic shell that can be removed if you wish. The movement with shell measures 2-1/8 inches L x 1-7/8 inches W x 1-1/16 inchesH. When fully wound it plays approximately 2-3 minutes. It has 18 notes to provide a nice range of tones. It winds from the bottom and a gold colored winding key is provided measuring 23/32 inches long.
