Tool snaps around cooler line and when pushed into the fitting releases the fitting
The cooler line can then be removed
3/8" disconnect is used on 2003 - newer Ford Explorers with the 5R55W transmission
1/2" disconnect is used on 2003 - newer Ford Super Duty Trucks with the 4R100 transmission

Tool snaps around cooler line and when pushed into the fitting releases the fitting. The cooler line can then be removed. 3/8" disconnect is used on 2003 - newer Ford Explorers with the 5R55W transmission. (Similar to Ford No. 307-441.) 1/2" disconnect is used on 2003 - newer Ford Super Duty Trucks with the 4R100 transmission. (Similar to Ford No. 307-459.).
