The new WF10255NP, designed for newer fuel systems, is now part of the WIX product offering. The "NP" suffix indicates that a new multilayered nanofiber filter media is used. The Prefix “nano” means billionth, so by definition, a nanofiber is defined as one that is less than 100 nanometers in diameter. To put this into perspective, a human hair measures approximately 50 Microns in diameter. One of those microns would be 100 times larger than a nanofiber. The added nanofibers dramatically improve filter efficiency and capacity making the filter suitable for fine filtration needs. This new fuel water separator is available and ready to meet the demands of new engine technology by providing superior protection and filtration performance.
