The softness and Velcro band makes them soft and easy to fit on all kind and brands of spreader. With only four different sizes, it's easy to choose the right spreaders for your boat. You need to measure the width of the spreaders. Measure them in the middle not the tip. You also need to know if you have continuous rig or linked rig. A linked rig has larger spreader tips and need a larger size. This is not 100% scientific but with flexibility in the spreader boot works perfect, it's easy and simple.
