The Fair Trade Certified, Senda Apex Match Soccer Ball is made with 1.6 mm premium synthetic leather and is NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) approved. It's designed with 32 panels sewn together, producing a near perfect sphere once inflated. The number of panels determines how the ball moves through the air as well as how much control a player has. Generally, a ball with more panels will be more controllable and playable. This 32 panel design is used in most professional matches. Each panel is hand stitched, providing tighter and stronger seams, and extends durability with higher performance. The Senda Apex Match soccer ball is PVC free (Polyvinyl Chloride), made from Polyurethane (PU), which makes for a softer and livelier ball. It's designed with 4 layers of polyester/cotton hybrid linings placed between the cover and the bladder to help the ball retain its shape and bounce. It features a latex bladder which offers the softest feel and provides better surface tension; intended for gameplay on outdoor grass, outdoor turf and indoor turf. All Senda balls are Fair Trade Certified, ensuring ball producers meet social, economic and environmental criteria. This includes guaranteeing all workers in the supply chain receive at least the national minimum wage, that there is no child labor involved in production and that the health and safety of workers is safeguarded. Senda's mission is to make high-quality, Fair Trade soccer balls that connect and benefit athletes, and to support grassroots organizations that use soccer as a vehicle for change to improve lives in the United States and abroad.
