1.35mm X 3.5mm DC plug extension cable.
Work with most (but not all) of 5-volt IP cameras.
Not recommended for 12V IP Camera. NOT work with Micro USB power IP Camera. (wrong size)
NOTE - Two common issue experienced when buying a DC power extension cable.
1. Wrong Plug Size - This is the most common problem. Please check your device by measuring the barrel plug of the power adapter. This will only accept 1.35mm (inside diameter) x 3.5mm (outside diameter) plugs. 1.35mm x 3.5mm plugs are commonly used for small digital device. However, not all wireless IP camera uses 1.35mm x 3.5mm plugs. Please check the plugs size before purchase.
2. Lack of Power - The longer the cable, the more resistance and power loss, and hence requires more power from power supply. Most commercial products do not provide a strong power adapter. At 20ft length, the power loss is noticeable. Please make sure you have adequate power supply to use extension cable
Make sure that the power adapter can supply enough power over the extension cable.
