WHAT'S INCLUDED: 1 each 6” x 1” thick x 1” arbor Cotton String Buffing Wheel. Includes arbor adapter which will reduce wheel hole size to fit on 3/4", 5/8” or 1/2” shaft sizes.
USES: This 6" String Buff, used in conjunction with plastic with plastic buffing compound (Sold Separately), will bring turn signals, tail light lenses and side markers to a shiny, like-new condition. Also ideal for buffing wood, leather, acrylic and lacquered surfaces. Compatible for buffing Bakelite barometers and side plates.
QUALITY: String Buff is manufactured with thousands of 1-3/4" long cotton strands that will conform and reach deep into surface details to gently polish and shine without overheating and melting the plastic. Use with Plastic Buffing Compound which is sold separately.
APPLICATION: Pro-Graad String Buffing Wheels are soft enough to be suitable for any buffing application of plastic. The construction and design of the wheel with thousands of cotton strings allows the wheel to run smooth and cool while buffing plastic material, which is crucial to not overheat the plastic which can cause surface damage.
