This presser foot for sewing on buttons raises the button slightly off the fabric to give a slight thread shank to enable easy buttoning, and prevent the button from being sewn too tightly to the fabric.
Select “Button Sewing” on your Sewing Advisor. Adjust the Stitch Width if necessary according to the width between the holes in the button. Sew on your button following the instructions in your User's Guide.
This foot will work with MOST Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machines which have snap on feet 1 through 7. See picture or list below to see if this foot will fit your machine. PLEASE NOTE: Not for EMERALD 122, 118 and 116 machines.
