This is a custom design we created to assist every home owner in creating the perfect install of their compatible ring spotlight or floodlight camera systems. This adapter is specially designed to match the slant offset of standard home siding slats. Most siding is angled which doesnt allow for a flush or fully sealed and seated install on the side of your home, however with this adapter, you simply, place it in the desired location, screw the adapter to your home to creat a flush, and straight surface with 2 screws (Not Supplied). Once the adapter plate is installed use another screw to screw the compatible ring cameras back plate to our adapter plate. ( do not used included screw that comes with the kit. Use a screw long enough to go through both plates directly into the home. Make sure you drill a hole for your wiring to where it will connect, if one doesnt already exist. once complete simply lay a bead of silicone around the adjoining interface for a leak free installation, and connect your camera according to the manufacturers specifications.
