What is Palo Santo? Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) is a wild tree typical of the tropical-dry forest of the Ecuadorian Coast. Our product is 100% natural, harvested in a responsible way, guaranteeing the sustainability of the ecosystem.
We do not cut the trees, we collect some of the dead wood or dry branches that have fallen off the trunk for some time. Not only is our Palo Santo sustainably harvested in its wild form but we are happy to say that annually, with the support of our clients, we carry out reforestation projects.
We are native artisans from the region of Puerto López - Ecuador, making various products from the Palo Santo wood. The dead wood is cut by hand with a machete by family members of farmers that live in the region and that benefit from the local jobs we are able to provide them.
