PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS:

2-3 weeks before planting, kill native vegetation and weeds with weed killer. After vegetation has yellowed, disk or cultivate the soil 4-5" deep to create a moisture-retaining seed bed without large clumps. Using a wood pallet, drag the area to create a level seed bed. After dispensing the seed, drag the area again covering the seed with no more than 1/4" of soil. Food plots should be planted within 10 days of anticipated rainfall for proper germination. We recommend 150 lbs of 13-13-13 per half acre. For best results, fertilize 45 days after initial planting ahead of significant rainfall.
