Racing to the scene in 1974, Al Holbert made his debut into the Sports Car Club of America's premier endurance Trans-Am series in this Porsche 911 RSR. The silhouette of the Porsche 911 is one of the most recognizable and classsy designed bodies to hit the track, taking 5th place as the Car of the Century and stands out with this blue and orange livery. Al Holbert went on the be a five-time champion with a passion for Porsches. This one helped launch his career into motorsport, although it was already in his blood, the son of Bob Holbert, another racecar driver that owned a Porsche dealership. Al grew up around Porsches and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer, he went hand in hand with these powerfully sleek machines through different endurance races, eventually creating Holbert Racing, they would continue a glorious career around the track.
