Description

BERETTA VCI PROTECTIVE GUN SOCK Don't let wet field conditions ruin your favorite gun! Unlike most gun socks which are made from silicon and therefore trap moisture, Beretta's gun sock (sock-like knitted sleeve) VCI is made from soft spun yarns that shed water and keep moisture away. Plus, Beretta's Vapor Corrosion inhibitor creates a chemical barrier that stops any rust or corrosion and will never abrade wood or metal finishes - making the Beretta gun sock VCI perfect for transporting your gun from the range or for long-term storage. Constructed with a stretch-knit fabric made of soft spun yarns, the VCI Gun Sock fits over most long guns, with or without optics, and quickly ties shut with a drawstring closure. Ideal for transporting guns to areas with damp, humid conditions, this easy-to-use cover also works well for year-round gun storage in climates that continually change. The goal of a gun sock is to keep your guns from rusting and getting scratched while storing them. Much like the name implies, the gun sock looks a lot like a long tube sock which is closed on one end and has an opening on the opposite end. You slide your gun into them, barrel first, and pull the strings tight. Some people like to keep the handle of their gun poking out so they know which gun is in the sock. Either way, the barrel is in the sock which is the part of the gun that you're trying to protect. A gun sock is great for long-term storage applications, especially in humid environments. If you have multiple guns in a tight safe or cabinet you will want the added protection that a sock affords. We recommend getting a gun sock for every gun you own. Most importantly for those guns that are of high value.
