The cute wooden bridge measures 5.9 x 3.2 x 3 inches, perfect for most small animal cages or tanks. The bridge is made of natural wood and twine, the wood is structurally stable and the twine covers the wooden bridge for durability and ensures that hermit crabs can grip it comfortably, making it the perfect toy for hermit crabs to hide, climb, exercise and have fun.
Green Turbo and Purpura luteostoma, are very popular choice among hermit crabs. Green Turbo Size: 2-2.5 Inch, Opening Size: 1-1.2 Inch, Purpura luteostoma Size: 2.5-3 Inch, Opening Size: 1.5-1.75 Inch. These shells are NOT coated with lacquer, varnish or any other potentially toxic substance. All shells are inspected for damage that would deem them unsuitable for hermit crab use. Every shell is hand selected and measured at the opening. Great for small to medium sized hermit crabs.
Tip: Hermit crab climbing bridges are best placed in areas where the crab's habitat can emit moisture. If it's not humid, hermit crabs won't like to climb on the rope net. As with any natural product, excessive humidity or too much moisture in the substrate may cause discoloration, mold, etc. on the wood. Please just clean it with a small brush.
