Description

NuVeria Labs Bordered Silicone Foam Dressing is a sterile dressing with a gentle adhesive that maintains a moist wound healing environment. This is a multi-layer dressing that consists of: 1) gentle silicone contact layer to help minimize discomfort during dressing change/removal and allows the dressing to be lifted or repositioned, 2) absorbing foam layer, 3) transferring layer to moves the drainage into the dressing, 4) superabsorbent layer to absorb, retain, and keep harmful drainage away from wound and skin, 5) breathable and water-resistant film backing. This sterile dressing can be used on a wide range of low to heavily draining partial and full-thickness wounds such as pressure injuries, skin tears, foot ulcers, leg ulcers, lacerations, trauma wounds, and dermal lesions. This dressing can be used by itself as a primary dressing, or can be used as a secondary dressing to cover another dressing, such as gelling fiber. Sacral dressings can be used as part of a pressure injury prevention protocol, to protect at-risk areas, and areas showing early signs of damage.
