ACCURATE MEASUREMENT: Measurement range: Water content (Moisture) 12-27%, White Brix 58-90%, Be' (Boehmicity) 38-43. Zoning: 0.5% Water, 0.5% White Brix, 0.25 Be' (Boehmicity). Clear zoning (blue and white), good readability. Turn the handle to adjust the focus. Suitable for high sugar content liquids such as honey, maple syrup or fruit juices and beverages.
ATC:This honey refractometer is made of non-polluting, non-corrosive and non-reactive chrome material to ensure hygiene and safety for all users. The HD prism and rubber grip with built-in automatic temperature compensation allows it to get consistently accurate readings, you don't need to deliberately control the temperature of the liquid, just make sure it is at room temperature (between 0-30 degrees).
EASY TO USE: Calibration:Apply a few drops of calibration fluid to the prism and adjust the calibration screw with a screwdriver until the reading is appropriate. (Details on the proper calibration solution and reading indicators are documented in the user manual). Measurement: Place a few drops of the solution you wish to test on the prism and read the reading through the viewing window.
EASY TO CARRY: The refractometer comes with a dropper, screwdriver, user manual and cloth, all in a tough storage case. The small size and light weight (only 8.6 oz.) make it very portable.
