Intex Hose Conversion Adapter Kit 25009/10722 Hose Adapters These NEW DESIGN hose adapters allow the use of Intex Filter Pumps with 1 1/2 Screw On Hoses to be used on 16' and smaller Intex above ground swimming pools by reducing the filter pump's 1 1/2" hoses down to 1 1/4" at the pool inlet and outlet ports. To help prevent cavitation when adapting a 2500 or larger GPH Filter Pump, we recommend connecting the pump hoses directly to the adapters then to the pool. Cavitation is caused by excessive flow restriction through the inlet port. This can cause anything from adapter seal noise to inlet hose collapse. Please note that this item will ship inside of the pump box when purchased in combination with a filter pump. Additional parts are needed for split hose systems on newer Intex pools.
