HOW DOES THE O RING MEASURING TOOL WORK? Easy. Determine the thickness by inserting the oring into the bottom slots to find the best slot size. Using your finger as your guide, take the oring out of the slot and place your finger on the correct slot size while also placing the oring on the cone. As you are pulling the oring downward, guide the finger you placed on the correct-sized slot upwards and meet both the oring and your finger at the correct measurement when the inside diameter of the oring can no longer go past another gauge.
