This Herm. Sprenger fur saver dog collar is made of stainless steel and is designed for dogs with the neck circumference up to 18 inches (47 cm). Overall collar length is 21 inches (54 cm) by 3mm wire gauge. Link size 1.6 inch (4 cm) long and 0.5 inch (1.2 cm) wide.

Design:
Stainless-steel fur saver collar has martingale assembly chain and long smooth links (1.6 inch (4 cm) long and 0.5 inch (1.2 cm) wide). It is well suited for dogs with fine hair and long hair. Quick release snap hook is permanently attached to the assembly chain and fastens the collar by connecting it to the collar links. Robust design of the snap hook provides tight enclosure and prevents accidental opening. You can adjust the collar by attaching the snap hook to the links down the chain.

Functionality:
The chain serves as a behavior correction collar. The collar tightens when the dog is pulling on a leash. The control loop on the collar should have enough room to pull into a symmetrical triangular shape when a leash is attached and pulled. When the leash is attached and pulled tight, the O-rings on each side of the control chain should never touch. There should always be two fingers width (about 2 inches) between the side O-rings.
