As with all clay glazes, pieces are fired based on the type of covering glaze. The lightest shades hold their color up to Cone 6 (2269°F, 1243°C). The rest up to Cone 10 (2381°F, 1305°C).
Like typical watercolor paints, our non-toxic and lead--free SMUGs can be blended and mistakes are removed with a simple swipe of a paper towel. Works great with underglaze pencils and both under and over liquid glaze.
