This 1 1/4 inch x 1 inch reducing straight coupling connects a range of ID (inside diameter) nominally sized polyethylene pipe, tube, and hose with varying wall thicknesses. It is re-usable and eliminates the need for multiple replacement parts. A unique blue captive nut stays on fitting and threads itself onto the outside of the pipe to seal onto the barb for a leak free connection. The maximum pressure is 230 psi and maximum temperature is 140 degrees F.
