Now is the time to integrate the ChromaTek full color, addressable RGB LED push button into your project. These full metal buttons are rugged, but certainly not lacking in flair. The WS2812 integrated light source is the latest advance in the quest for a simple full color LED and we have integrated it into a push button. The red, green, and blue LEDs are integrated alongside a driver chip into a tiny surface-mount. The LED requires a microcontroller (such as an Arduino) and some programming to light up. There are many guides/tutorials available for programming the WS2812 LED and we are excited to see how hobbyists and professionals make use of these awesome switches.
