The original Hobonichi Techo was created in Japan in 2001, and it's been refined every year since then to reflect the demands of users. Now, over 20 years from its initial release, the techo has gained fans all over the world and its cumulative sales reached 10 million copies in September 2023.
ONE PAGE PER DAY - Each day has its own page with ample blank space to help you use the techo any way you like. The 3.7mm graph paper provides optimal writing comfort. The line colors are subtle enough so users can either customize it to their own layout or ignore it completely. This book includes inspirational quotes on each daily page in Japanese. The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River S paper which provides a high page count with a compact design.

Test fountain pens before regular use
The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River / Tomoe River S paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.
Paper packaging only designed to protect the contained products
Please note that we will not replace the packaging for the products if it has rips or damage.
