Some screws that are included in our kits remain phillips heads but are still stainless steel. We have done this for strength, as a result of our field testing, on small diameter screws (2mm and 2-56" dia). This may include some chassis screws and differential screws. All other remain socket head...........Traxxas flat cap screws (ex: 3931/4859) are patent pending and are replaced in our kits with correct diameter button heads and/or low profile cap screws depending on location. Also all barrel/shank type screws (ex: 3642x/3967/67726) are also patent pending parts and have machined collars and are considered threaded pins and not screws.........Please refer to your assembly manual which came with your RC car kit for screw locations, assemble and repair instructions, along with screw type and size call outs. ....NOTE: This manual does NOT come with this screw kit.
