Great tool for sewing and ironing, handmade from beech wood. Steam area needing to be pressed, then press the area with the clapper and hold for a few seconds. 11 1/2" long, 3" wide tapered down to 2 1/2", and 1 1/2 in thick. Color may be lighter or darker depending on variation of wood used. Both sides have routed grooves to offer easy handling and is unfinished to absorb the steam better.
