Description

DGS-3630 Series Gigabit L3 Stackable Managed Switches cater to SMBs, SMEs, Enterprises, and ISPs. Featuring Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 and SFP ports, 10GbE SFP+ ports, advanced security, and QoS, functioning as Core, Distribution, or Access Layer switches, delivering high performance and flexibility. With high port densities, switch stacking, and easy management, they suit diverse applications. The series offers Standard Image (SI) software, upgradable to Enhanced Image (EI) for additional functionality, supporting L2/L2+ solutions or full L3 routing for future needs. SNMP support enables centralized management, and out-of-band management is available via dedicated console ports. These stackable switches provide redundancy over multiple units, simplifying management with a single IP address. Robust QoS features prioritize critical services like VoIP, while the D-Link Safeguard Engine enhances reliability helping prevent malicious traffic. The mini-USB console port allows connector-free management, and a USB Type A port can be used to store logs, configuration, and firmware images. This series is designed for evolving network requirements, allowing for cost-effective deployment today with an upgrade path to comprehensive L3 solutions in the future.
