  • Ceramic ferrule is a specialized ceramic component made of nano-zirconia material, processed with high precision grinding for high hardness and brittleness.   • The optical fiber patch cord is made of Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) material, It is flexiable and allowes a minimum installation bending radius of 5.0cm and a minimum long term bending radius of 3 cm., insensitive to bending, easy to strip, and weld, ensuring minimal optical loss and stable transmission.
  • OM3 fiber optic is designed to work in conjunction with VCSEL and complies with the OM-3 fiber optic specifications of ISO/IEC 11801-2nd, meeting the requirements of 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. it also supports all applications based on old multimode 50/125 fibers, including support for LED and laser light sources.
  • OM3 fiber patch cords can operate within a temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC. Due to their flexible PVC coating, they are more suitable for indoor use. For outdoor and longer lengths, armored cables are recommended for better strength.
  • Suitable for high-performance applications such as large-scale data centers, cloud computing, OM3 patch cords allow for connections between patching panels and network and server equipment. OM3 patch cords are commonly used in passive applications (GPON, FTTX and LANs),OM3 cables have a 0.25 dB/km attenuation at 1550 nm and 0.35 dB/km at 1310 nm.
