RS-485 bus wire should be 2-core shielded twisted pair copper wire, of diameter 0.5 to 0.75 square millimeters, impedance 38 to 88 ohms / km, capacity of 30 to 50 nanofarad / km, twist pitch is 20mm (if wire distance is not more than 500 meters, the standard can be appropriately lower, but must be twisted pair)
