  • First highly recommend taking plenty of clear pictures of your original fan - from multiple angles - while both up in the ceiling before you've removed it - and then from front and back and multiple angles once it's removed from the ceiling before you start your new replacement assembly. It's a good idea to take pics of the replacement motor too - before any disassembly and reassembly - and then double check your pics and make sure they're clear! So you could use it for reference when attaching this new fan to the old frame.
  • If the motor won't turn because the impeller is positioned too high, the flats on the shaft need to be smoothed out so the fan is a little further down, or the excess length on the shaft needs to be removed, in short, the shaft needs to be adjusted to the original dimensions.
  • If it won't suck in air, the motor may be turned the wrong way, just remove two screws and take the guts out of the motor and turn it over.

SPECIFICATION:
The fan blade is 4 1/2" in diameter and 1" tall. approx Shaft = 3/16" x 1 3/4",
Wire Length =6" with 2-prong plug. Mounting studs 1 7/8" on center,5/8 Coil stack.
